If you’re looking for a Mazda SUV but aren’t sold on the 2021 vehicles, you’re in luck. It won’t be long before the 2022 models hit our showroom, and here we profile two of them:
2022 MAZDA CX-5
The sporty Mazda CX-5 comes with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine that puts out 187 horsepower and 186 lb.-ft. of torque. You can also go with a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that generates 250 horsepower and 320 lb.-ft. of torque. The Mazda CX-5 comes loaded with advanced features. HD radio, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Android Auto™, and Apple CarPlay® are all standard. You will also get an assortment of safety components, such as lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, and forward collision warning.
2022 MAZDA CX-30
A slightly smaller SUV, the Mazda CX-30 is also a blast to drive. It too comes standard with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine. This one offers 186 horsepower and 186 lb.-ft. of torque. You can also upgrade to the 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine to get 250 horsepower and 320 lb.-ft. of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard, and you’ll have your choice of front- or all-wheel drive.
Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® are included in every model, and you’ll also get two USB ports and Bluetooth®. Upgrades include navigation, a 12-speaker Bose® sound system, and satellite radio. Tons of safety features come standard, including pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, driver attention monitoring, and automatic emergency braking.
