When it comes to mid-sized cars that don’t sacrifice anything when it comes to power and features, you can’t beat our pre-owned Mazda vehicles. While they both offer great features, when considering the Mazda6 vs. Mazda3, there are some important differences.

MAZDA3

This Mazda hatchback offers two engine options: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine capable of putting out 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque, and a 2.5-liter turbo engine that ups those numbers to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. With either engine, you’re going to get far more power than you’d expect from a smaller vehicle.

There’s plenty of room in the interior, with 38 inches of headroom and 42.3 inches of legroom in the front and matched with 37.3 and 35.1 inches in the back, respectively. That’s plenty of room for most families, but if you need even more, look to the Mazda6.

MAZDA6

Like the Mazda3, the Mazda6 offers two powertrains to choose between. One offers the same specs as the 2.5-liter engine in the Mazda3, but you also have the option of a turbocharged 2.5-liter engine, capable of putting out an impressive 227 horsepower. If you want to dominate on the highway, this is the Mazda vehicle for you.

It also offers more head and legroom for growing family passengers. While the front seat is only a little larger at 42.2 inches of legroom, the rear seats are given more space than the Mazda3 with 38.7 inches of space.

Both the Mazda3 and the Mazda6 are great cars, but if you want more power and a little more space, check out a pre-owned Mazda6. Test drive both today at Green Mazda and see which one is right for you!
